Tribune: Canada Slays Tour 2014

From April 3rd to May 3rd, Vancouver’s Tribune will travel across the country in support of their latest album, Tales, which we wrote our own review here. Mixing thrash and melodic metal, the band’s eclectic influences range from At the Gates, Volbeat, Lamb of God and System of a Down, and many more. Having said that, their music is able to maintain a certain focus and to stay very catchy, thanks to the clean vocals and guitar harmonies. The concept behind Tales is woven around fantasy litterature, a powerful vortex from which a lot of heavy metal stereotypes come from. If you haven’t seen the band on their previous tour in 2012, you should make sure you catch them live this Spring. Not only do they need our support to brave the distances, but it is anyway a golden opportunity for any metalhead to see a very interesting band playing our local scene, thousands of miles away from their home town.
